If your child would like to take part in a club, please complete a club request form and hand it to the club coordinator. Please note: There is no on-site parking available when you are picking your child up from a club.


Hockey Club

Hockey club is open to children of both genders in years 3, 4, 5 & 6, subject to spaces. In the club, the children will learn hockey technical skills and tactical elements which they will practise in controlled exercises and open gameplay scenarios.

Year 1 & 2 Movement and Agility Club

Movement and agility club will be a fun and engaging environment for years 1 and 2 to come and develop their skills in all areas of movement and agility. The aim of every lesson is for all the children to hopefully gain a lot of confidence in new activities and a chance to make new friends.

Year 5 & 6 Boys football club

Year 5 & 6 boys Football club will be a fun, competitive and engaging environment for years 5 and 6 boys to come and develop their skills in all areas of Football and a chance to showcase these skills in competitive matches against other schools. The aim of every lesson is for all the children to go home feeling more confident and happier with all the new skills learnt and hopefully some new friends made along the way. 

Year 5 & 6 Benchball club

Benchball club will be a fun, competitive and engaging environment for years 5 and 6 to come and develop their skills in all areas of a variety of Benchball. The aim of every lesson is for all the children to go home feeling more confident and happier with all the new skills learnt and hopefully some new friends made along the way. 

Year 3 & 4 Football club

Year 3 & 4 Football club will be a fun, competitive and engaging environment for years 3 and 4 to come and develop their skills in all areas of Football and a chance to showcase these skills in competitive matches against other schools. The aim of every lesson is for all the children to go home feeling more confident and happier with all the new skills learnt and hopefully some new friends made along the way. 

Netball Club

Netball Club: Netball club will be for children in Years 4, 5 and 6. The children will be learning netball skills, mostly with a focus on gameplay in order to prepare a competitive team to represent Furley Park at local matches and tournaments.

Story Club: 

Story Club is a chance for Year 2 children to come and listen to some exciting stories after school. We will read a range of stories together, discuss our favourites and have lots of fun! 

Spanish Language Nut Club

This is a chance to practise your Spanish skills using Language Nut. You will improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in Spanish. 

Forest School

Forest School Club will provide opportunities to explore, play and learn in the natural environment, mostly in the woods but sometimes within the school grounds. Your child is likely to get dirty and may have the opportunity to use small tools for cutting and making things. Club will run despite the weather but coats and wellies may be needed.

Shakespeare Club

This year Shakespeare Club will be rehearsing to prepare for our performance of a well-loved Shakespeare play. We work together to build on our performing arts skills, building self-confidence and self-esteem, and a strong team spirit whilst having a great deal of fun along the way.  All year 5 and 6 children are welcome.

Choir

A time to enjoy singing together as part of a large ensemble.  We will be learning lots of new songs with opportunities to perform at different events including the annual Young Voices concert at the London O2 and the school Christmas Fair.  Please note that the songs for the Young Voices concert will be the focus of Term 1 but that this trip is completely optional, all happy singers are welcome.

Year 4 5 and 6 Eco Club 

 Let’s save our planet! In this club we look to be engaged in a variety of activities to help our school and surrounding area become more environmentally friendly. If you are looking to help improve our environmental conditions, then this is the club for you.
