Who are we?
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association), a school based organisation, is made up of parents who enjoy being involved in helping our school to provide the best educational environment for the children. Its aim is to provide closer links between home and school, a way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of our school. Working towards a common goal while raising funds which would be spent on improving equipment, buildings, resources, supporting class visits, all to enhance our children’s education.
All parents and member of the school community can get involved, events are not possible without your help. The PTA really couldn’t make a difference without the unseen ‘army of help’ that exists in school. PTA meetings will be a chance to get together in a very informal manner with like-minded people to discuss upcoming events, fundraising ideas and more, so if you are a parent of a child in school and would like to help please get in touch, email@example.com – It really is a case of ‘many hands make light work’ so we hope you’ll join us at a meeting very soon.
Furley Park PTA is a Registered Charity (No 1185549) for which member of the PTA Committee are the Governing Body / Board of Trustees for the charity.
